Thousands of tourists flock to the beaches of Durrës every summer - come join YWAM Albania to hand out bibles and do some creative evangelism on the beach, as well as visit and pray with patients in local hospitals and inmates in prison.

Over 200,000 tourists line the beaches of Durrës every summer and our summer teams will often partner with a national bible distribution initiative working alongside other missionary teams and local believers to see “a bible in the hand of every tourist”.

 The Mission Adventures team will be hosted by the YWAM base leaders Alma and Alket, staying in a converted former hotel just 900m away from the beach. YWAM Durrës regularly receives teams from around the world and are engaged in numerous ministries across the city.

We will work with you to put together a custom ministry schedule based on the interests of the team and the needs in the area at the time.

Opportunities include anything from running children’s programmes, to handing out bibles and doing creative evangelism on the beaches through sports, face-painting, dramas etc, praying with patients in local hospitals, doing prayer and evangelism walks around the city, visiting those in prison, and sharing testimonies at a local church.

The team will have a day off to sightsee, shop for souvenirs, and experience some of Albania’s rich culture and history, including the opportunity a visit an amphitheatre which is considered to be built on one of the places where Paul and Titus preached the gospel!
