The young people have EXPLODED for Jesus! The way they pray, individually and as a group, the way they are talking to people, not only is it with confidence, it’s with love and joy and passion. We know it’s not just going to last here, it’s going to go back to London with us!

I feel like I’ve been really challenged, my faith has been really boosted, and I’ve just gotten really bold all of a sudden. I think thats 100% from God.
One of my highlights would definitely be the culture, seeing it and experiencing it. Another highlight would be beach evangelism and having the confidence to just speak out and do things I wouldn’t normally be able to do.

I think experiencing new cultures is very valuable, I think I’m learning a lot about the differences, which makes me understand our culture a bit more.
I’ve been to a children’s hospital on outreach, done beach missions twice, I got chatting to some girls that came up to watch, it was really nice to have a chat with them and they were really open to hear why we were in Albania.

Our mission involved in lots of beach evangelism, whilst we were there the groups at the base gave out over 5000 Bibles and books. We had lots of great conversations where we were able to share Jesus, and also to pray for people. Some comments from the young people:
“It was a trip that did more than help people, it helped me get out of my comfort zone and do daring things.”
“I have come back more passionate for Christ than ever, and I’m ready to work with dedication and persistence for him.”

I think Mission Adventure is a great opportunity to grow your faith in God and learn so much about how He is always there and how you can always rely on Him. It really has changed me from the inside out.

YWAM and Mission Adventures has been amazing from start to finish. The team were fantastic in their organisation giving us the chance to focus on our young people. Our group came from 2 separate churches in different areas. They arrived as 2 groups and left as a family. The growth in the team and individuals has been massive and is still happening. They have become fired up for God and can't wait for the next adventure he will take them on.

One of the reasons we chose to do Mission Adventures at Harpenden was because of the emphasis on the training aspect, which is different than some of the other programmes we were looking at.
Every day that progressed I noticed a change within individuals, and as the group began to respond to the teaching and the worship, learning about themselves and the Lord.

For me as a leader, it was so amazing to see the young people step up to every opportunity, but also seeing them grow in themselves. They arrived a slightly distant family and now they are a family that supports and encourages each other. They have God on 'speed dial', and know He is real. They are more confident in themselves and are seeking God's truth for themselves!
Our church leaders believe this has been the most impact to our youth and positive effect to the church since it started!!!

The experience of Mission Adventures has been brilliant. The training camp was a great place to start, our young people were equipped with all the training that they needed, they were given a chance to build and bond as a team and to really look inside themselves. In fact we had two of our team commit their lives to Jesus before we even went on outreach!

I would definitely recommend Mission Adventures to anyone and everyone! It grows you as a person, it really builds you up and… you change.

I would recommend Mission Adventures to anyone that wants to grow their faith, get a good taste of missions, get a taste of what Jesus has called us to do, get training in that and be able to apply it to any situation in life.

It not just united two different churches in our area but we’ve seen a unity in the whole community like we have never seen before and it’s all because of Mission Adventures.
The spiritual growth has been enormous, to say that it has been valuable is an understatement. What I’ve seen is that their prayer life, their worship, everything has just grown so much deeper and they realised things about themselves that they had no idea about. I’m chuffed to go back to a very enthusiastic youth group that’s on fire for God!

Without Mission Adventures I wouldn’t of known what I want to do with my life and what steps I want to take in the future.
I think I’ve leant more about myself spiritually in the past two weeks than I have my whole life!
